Oh I love to read and I am fresh out of grown up books. I can’t pick just 2 … so here is my list in no particular order.

I would love the book about why he hasn’t proposed!
We talk about it, we joke about it, he acts like it is just going to happen… but got visibly annoyed the last time I made a comment to a friend about the “countdown timer”. (I told him from date 1 that I am not in this to date. After 2-3 years we should know whether we want to be together forever or not… and it has been 2.)
In any event, I am trying not to comment on it anymore… but I can’t help but wonder what he is thinking. I mean… he bought a house a few months ago that is big enough for all of us (moved from his bachelor’s pad). It seems like he is moving in the right direction.
Hope I get the book!

I am so glad I found this site! I am 43 and a single mom of a soon to be teenager. I would love any of the books but Getting Naked Again! is calling my name.
I also recently lost 100lbs. So here I am, single…and suddenly I have guys hitting on me! I told a friend of mine that it was funny that I went to this big camping event and had my choice of several guys but I couldn’t “close”. I kind of freaked out and ran back to my tent! I didn’t know how to handle it.
So any of these books would be great but I’m definitely going to be buying that one if I don’t win it!

Ok, this has nothing to do with the books (my single mom probably already has most, if not all of them already…and from experience I can say she doesn’t need them).
I do want to say something to all the single ladies. I just realized what I’m getting for Valentime’s (good fortune, and a little inside information) and I realized that it’s not just for women. Of course as a result of my single mom’s efforts towards what I’m getting I’ll have to do a bit more for her. The point is that men don’t expect anything. We focus on the lady in our life. So when we suddenly find that we’ve become the focus (beyond the card) it really often hits us in a soft spot we’ve usually forgotten that we had.
Something to think about.
