More love on Mother’s Day!

Because we wanted to send love to so many moms out there for Mother’s Day, we needed to split this into two posts, in no particular order. If you missed our first Mother’s Day love post, go here.
Kat: We love you for being the first being the first-ever single mom who launched a blog on the Internet!
PT Law Mom: We love your insightful, no-nonsense posts about divorce recovery, law school, new love, and all with such generous links to other single parent bloggers.
Penelope Trunk: We love you for showing us what it’s really like to run a start up and be a single mom (go mama!), like when you recently left home in the middle of the night to catch a business flight, with your ex-husband sleeping in the bedroom down the hall….
Fabulous Financials: We love how you open our eyes to realities — about money, relationships, parenting — that we sometimes chose not to see. You always keep it real!
Cathouse Teri: We love how sassy you get with everyone! And here’s a big congratulations on your new grandbaby!

Thank you, thank you! And we love you for being so honest, thoughtful, insightful and for reminding us that no matter how “alone” we feel in our single mom (oh, heck, just plain mothering) struggles, there are others out there going through the same or similar things. By sharing, we learn from each other. That is without a doubt the most blessed thing about blogging parents.
Happy Mom’s day to you, too, and to all the moms everywhere. Although we are hopeful that our kids and partners will be kind to us today, we need to remember that we need to be kind to ourselves, too. (um, does that explain my somewhat extravagant resale dress purchase yesterday? Hmmm …)
