Happy Father’s Day, Part II

If you missed our first Father’s Day shout out to dads, please read about these amazing fathers here.
Our list keeps growing, and we’re so proud to introduce you to:

John from Single Parent Travel:
One of these days, we will pack our bags and board that single parent cruise with you. After all, you truly are a cruise director. Not only do you run a rockin’ travel agency for single parents — they’ve told us how fun and fulfilling your trips are — but you’ve taken your three kids to over 35 countries and on more than a dozen cruises. Wow!

Some parents love to talk about the ins and outs of parenting, but you’ve really shown what a committed, hands-on dad truly means. We especially appreciated the vulnerability in your recent post about summer
You’re a solo, full-time dad for the entire school year (and more!) and then your son goes to visit his mom. “What is hard is me making the transition from care giver dad to soloist,” you wrote. “I’m ready for it, but it takes a while to break my parenting routines….and by then, it is nearly time to implement them again!”
Eathan at I Date White
You have always been that dad-blogger who has reached out as a friend. Thank you. We know that in the middle of challenge, you’d have our backs, with your kindness and common sense.
We also love how you face controversy head-on. We can count on you for keepin’ it real!
Fred at Daddy Got Custody:
Thank you for empowering so many dads and for educations us about father’s rights. We especially appreciate your tips on how to co-parent successfully.
Barry at Single Dad Life:
We love the fact that you never shy away from the practical, but sometimes-sticky parenting dilemmas. And your recent Father’s Day post about doing our part to make our community better touched us:

“Kids, I promise to ALWAYS try my best to realize the benefit of that belief,” you wrote. “I also hope you, especially fathers, give that philosophy a shot this week. Let’s all do our best to rise in unison for the common good. Pick your favorite cause and be part of the team trying to run to daylight and play like champions in the game of making a positive difference at home, work or community.
Coach Blogger: One dad, four daughters… that says it all about you!
“Since I spend so much time at the school as both a teacher and the school’s head football coach, my daughters go with me so they can say goodbye to so many students who have watched my kids during football practices and games,” you wrote.
“The students love to see them… and teach them dance moves like the Jerk. It is a move that has been a craze on our campus all year and is one that I could never duplicate.”
Are you sure you can’t duplicate it?…

Every loving and conscientious parent has that exact thought (many times) every day. Am I making the right choices? Am I a positive influence?
You’re asking those questions and having those doubts? You’re likely doing the right things for your kids.
