Single mom getting remarried. Advice, please

Congrats to our single mom reader — who goes by “GregPeckFan.” She’s getting remarried in September!
We both admit that we get weepy at weddings, and  love the fact that the ceremony includes a line that goes: “This is not just the beginning of a marriage, but the beginning of a new family.”

“My eight-year-old daughter came home from her dad’s this weekend and announced, ‘Daddy is getting married!’
I didn’t even know that he had a girlfriend! My daughter explained that she was introduced to ‘Daddy’s new wife.’
But she asked me if she should call her ‘Mommy,’ too.
