You are more than mommy (or daddy)

We know that you are the kind of mother — or father — who puts her/his kids first.
You probably have lunches packed before bed. You might wake up thinking about what to cook for dinner.
You dole out goodnight kisses without a quota and always find the energy to read just one more story. You pay the bills on time. You make sure that your kids’ homework is done on time — and done well. You have a savings account. You schedule dentist and doctor appointments.
If you have an ex, you’re doing the best you can to manage whatever challenges he/she places in your path. In short, you’re working hard and smart at single parenting.
But how about you?
Let’s face it, somewhere buried down deeply, there’s a human being. You miss being touched. You want to feel a hand on the small of your back.
Are you open to that possibility?
Maybe your body doesn’t look or feel the way it did before kids:
Maybe you have stretch marks (which, by the way, men rarely notice).
Maybe your thighs are a tad wider (which, by the way, men don’t care).
Maybe your buns are a bit bigger (which, by the way, men LOVE).
Can you let that go…. for now? Are ready to be more than just mommy (or daddy)?
If it’s challenging, what’s holding you back? Maybe you’ve sworn off men (or women). Maybe you feel self-conscious about your body.
Let us know. Maybe we can help you break out. It’s time.
