It’s the New Year: You’ve got it, now get it!

How are you going to fire up your dating life in 2009?

You can start by tossing out your oversized briefs. Or, by ditching those mom jeans.  Or, just by putting on lip gloss and running a brush through your hair (every day, even on weekends).

But let’s face it: it’s going to take more than quick fixes to your appearance to fire up your sex life.

We’ve shared the same doubts, worries, and uncertainties. That why we’re here to inspire you to get back out there in 2009.

Perhaps the last time you went on a date, you strutted out the door with your best girlfriend without a care. You felt adventurous, optimistic, and ready to make it happen. But maybe that was a while ago.

Now, you’ve sat for almost an hour trying to write an online profile and finally settled on “40-year-old mom of two fabulous, talented, beautiful children who lives in a family friendly neighborhood.”

Why can you say so many terrific (and, of course, true) things about your children, but can’t think of any thing terrific (or anything at all) to say about yourself?

We are urging you to change that mindset now!

As we enter the New Year, we’d love to hear one terrific, incredible thing about you. C’mon now, this is your chance to brag. Let us hear it, just one thing.

What’s a certain skill you’re proud of? (Rachel plays the alto saxophone! Dr. Leah makes the most delicious pies you’ve ever tasted — apple pie is her specialty).

How would your best friend describe you? (Are you the one that others turn to for advice? Are you the one who cooks the most amazing dinners?)
